'58 Motorola SK18B Portable

1958 Motorola SK18-B Portable Record Player

This Portable arrived in pretty dismal condition. Nothing worked. Except the hum. All tubes were tested, electrolytic capacitors were replaced and the turntable completely rebuilt with new stylus and idler wheel. The exterior needed to be thoroughly cleaned and the chrome polished. The speakers detach and can be extended fifteen feet to each side. After completion this classic really shined and the stack of 45's could be heard down the block.
